Lost 20 lbs in 6 weeks

I bought this book because I wanted to eat healthier and lose some weight without having to change my lifestyle much. I'm fairly active for a 45 year old, with my job being where I get a majority of my activity.
While I did not go strictly by the book and eliminate all sugar, meat, eggs, and processed foods from my diet, I did cut WAY back on those items. I did not exercise more than what I did before reading this book. Short story is that I lost 20 pound in six weeks. And I've kept it off for five months so far.
I had a tough time eating all the food they wanted me to eat at each meal because there was so much of it! The biggest challenge was to find time to eat only breakfast and lunch. My work schedule gives me some flexibility but I can see that the average individual with an 8-5 job may have some issues with the eating schedule if not the amount.
There are plenty of recipes, cooking directions for various grains and beans, charts for other items - I've put tabs on relevant sections so I can just flip to where I want in the book - that are tremendously helpful. Even if you don't follow the diet faithfully, the recipes and cooking charts are well worth the asking price.
